How to Get Involved!

Georgia Heartland Humane Society is an all volunteer run organization. There are many ways to volunteer your time and skills to help GHHS rescue local cats & dogs with the goal of ending overpopulation in the area. Below are just some of the ways you can help!

Georgia Renaissance Festival

Each year Georgia Heartland Humane Society occupies a booth at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. Our fosters bring their cats and dogs to the festival to get them exposure and find them loving homes. Throughout the duration of the festival we host a raffle and other events, including the pet costume contest! We need fosters and volunteers willing to dress up to help make this event a success. Contact us if you want more information about getting involved in this specific event.

*Due to COVID-19 the dates and attendance at the Georgia Renaissance Festival is subject to change.

Volunteer

If you have some time to spare you can volunteer in one of the many areas needed to keep GHHS running, whether in person or virtual.

Foster

Without foster homes GHHS could not take in animals that desperately need our help and care. Find out more about how you can help by sharing your home.

Fundraise

If you cannot make a long-term commitment, or you are apart of an organization/business, you can fundraise on behalf of GHHS. For ideas and information click the link below!

Partner or Sponsor

Becoming a corporate partner or sponsor is a great way for your business to give back to its community.
